Great Western Railway Dean 'Bulldog' class 4-4-0 No. 3433. Built at Swindon in Aug. 1906 as GWR No. 3723, re-numbered to 3433 in Dec. 1912 and withdrawn in Apr. 1939.
Inside Swindon's cavernous MPD in May 1937 is un-named 'Bulldog' 3433. Just visible on the left is the unique 'Saint' class 2935 'Caynham Court' as experimentally rebuilt in May 1931 with Lentz-style rotary cam poppet valve gear.
