MS&LR 216 1890s Grimsby Dock
Manchester, Sheffield & Lincolnshire Railway Sacre '23' class 0-6-0 No. 216. Built by Sharp, Stewart & Co. in 1866 and withdrawn in 1906 as GCR No. 216B.
The 1880s in Grimsby is the scene for Charles Reboul Sacre's fine '23' class 0-6-0 No. 216 that could benefit from a lick of fresh paint! Garibaldi Street in Grimsby is seen behind 216. Both the street (and biscuit!) owed their names to a famous (in that era) Italian General, Giuseppe Garibaldi!
