With a LMR Nottingham via Mansfield train
The ex LMS line through Mansfield was closed to passengers on Monday 1964/10/12, finally re-opening as the Robin Hood Line on 1995/11/20. Mansfield long had the dubious distinction of being the largest town to not have a railway station for over 30 years.
