Still eking out an existence at Carlisle Upperby in April 1961, -but just for the next 5 months, ‘Patriot’ No 45501 ‘St Dunstans’ was nominally rebuilt from ‘Claughton’ No 5902 ‘Sir Frank Ree’ in December 1930 and renumbered 5501 in 1934. Some, but only a very few parts of No 5902 were retained in the rebuilding process.
