The wagon sheet is dated June 1953 but I cannot remember if this a paint date or a 'renew by' date!
40934 was notable for being the only Compound to retain LMS crimson lake livery at nationalisation in 1948 and kept it, albeit with BR no, until emerging from Derby in March 1952 in the BR lined black livery shown here. It is regarded as the last loco to retain LMS red livery in BR days.
