Beattie well tank No 30585 about to cross the road at Dunmere with an empty ntrain for Wenford Bridge on 26th July 1957.

Peter Kerslake says "There were ungated road crossings at Dunmere and Helland between Boscarne and the china clay drying pens at Wenford which made it necessary for the train's guard to stand in the road and bring traffic to a halt with his red flag to get 30585 and its load of empty china clay wagons safely on its way."
