In October 1962 No.92028 was transferred from Kettering to Saltley and the painted 2E shedcode shows it was photographed around the time the shed was re-coded 2E in September 1963, and before the engine moved to Birkenhead in November. The former Crosti-boilered 2-10-0 had been converted to a conventional boiler at Crewe Works in late-1959. This is a Down coal train passing over Haselour water troughs, probably to Washwood Heath yard.
