A very clean BR 9F 2-10-0 No 92220 Evening Star at Cardiff East Dock shed on 12 July 1964.

Peter Kerslake says "Looking rather unusually clean now that it is at Cardiff East Dock m..p.d. 92220 was sent here from the nearby Canton depot when that establishment closed on the 13th. of September 1962.
Sadly, however, "Evening Star" sustained minor damage following a collision here at East Dock in early 1965, was condemned and towed to Severn Tunnel Junction depot where it languished for some time before its preservation was secured and it finally reached Crewe in 1967 where it was restored."
