Following trials with 92204 on the Somerset and Dorset line in March 1960 a number of 9F 2-10-0s were drafted to Bath Green Park Depot in the hope that they would reduce the high levels of double-heading of the heavy through passenger workings between Bathand Bournemouth. The Standards were worthy performers on the line, but double-heading was, however, still necessary at times as is shown here with 92245 piloting a 2251 0-6-0.
