Peter Kerslake says " My photograph on a deserted but sunlit day shows Horton Road's 4100, the first of the 1935 Swindon built batch of '5101' 2-6-2Ts,. One of the class was kept at Brimscombe, at the foot of Sapperton bank, to act as the 'Brimscombe Banker' assisting freights up to the summit at Sapperton tunnel."
