No.10000 rotting away at Derby with Southern Region No.10202 next to it. Klondyke sidings within the Locomotive Works. the Diesel Test House is in the background. Both locomotives had been stored there since 1962 along with Nos.10201 and 10203. All four were formally withdrawn in December 1963 and were eventually sold to J.Cashmore of Great Bridge for scrap in February 1968.
