Built at Nine Elms in 1897, No.30669 was shedded at Exmouth Junction from 1931 until withdrawn in September 1961 and was working as a station pilot when photographed on 21st May 1956. It was an M7/1, one of the short-framed variant with front sandboxes on the splashers.
