BR class 45 1-Co-Co-1 No D72 with a Dundee to Glasgow Buchanan Street train just past Gleneagles station on 27 August 1965, this is the opposite view as that of D72 supposidly dated the preceeding day and taken from the same bridge at Gleneagles Summit .

Sandy Smeaton says "There was a period in '64 when a Peak would appear on the 07.15 from Buchanan Street and return on the 12.00 from Dundee West. One would also appear on the 16.25 Buchanan St-Inverness, maybe the same one, but it would come off at Perth. Coming back from a shed visit on Sunday 7.11.65, D107 worked the 17.05 from Buchanan St to Aberdeen, but how often this particular working happened I don't know, as we weren't around often on a Sunday.

These were fill in turns for the Peak having worked into Glasgow on a freight from the south" I don't think Peaks were common on these services in this period, or indeed ever at Dundee.
