BR 45 1-Co-Co-1 No D72 with the 07.15 Glasgow Buchanan Street-Dundee approaching Gleneagles on 26 August 1965. Sandy Smeaton explains "There was a period in '64 when a Peak would appear on the 07.15 from Buchanan Street and return on the 12.00 from Dundee West. One would also appear on the 16.25 Buch St-Inverness, maybe the same one, but it would come off at Perth. Coming back from a shed visit on Sunday 7.11.65, D107 worked the 17.05 from Buch St to Aberdeen, but how often this particular working happened I don't know, as we weren't around often on a Sunday. These were fill in turns for the Peak having worked into Glasgow on a freight from the south "
