On Welbeck to Northfleet MGR mage up of 43 wagons
As David J Hayes says "Milk tanks, semaphores and a pair of two-tone green Brush Type 4's working hard in tandem (crew in each loco) with the 6O62 inter-regional MGR duty to Northfleet. What's not to like! As mentioned elsewhere with reference to these workings, this appears to have been a relatively short-lived routing for these long-distance MGR coal-hauls from the Nottinghamshire coalfield to North Kent, as they were soon amended to cross London via Acton Wells Junction".
