Peter Kerslake says "Of the ten or so pictures taken by myself at Lime Street on this day just a handful were worthy of printing, the dark , dismal and gloomy depths of the location making lineside photography difficult to say the least, and I did not make a return visit to Lime Street during my week spent with my relatives at nearby Leigh. This was one of the few better efforts , with 45600 Bermuda running in on a working which my notes say was from Newcastle, Darlington and Durham at about 1.30p.m. 45600 was shedded at Patricroft at this time".
