Peter Kerslake says he was lucky to get this nice shot of 48336, in fine condition and probably ex-works when steam was still to be seen at Gloucester, mainly on freight workings and before Severn Tunnel Junction shed closed to steam. 48336 has made a brief stop for a crew change on the down "through" road into South Wales.
