1556 is from the 1501 sub class of the Wolverhampton 645 class. It was never fitted with pannier tanks and was withdrawn in September 1932 from Croes Newydd. As for allocation, I only have details for 1921, when it was allocated to Stafford Road, 1922 ditto and 1929 when it went into Stafford Road Factory for a light overhaul in January and then was allocated to Croes Newydd from April.
