H class 31324 and pull-push set 609, on 25th November 1961, returns from Grain - the refinery looms in the distance over the bleak marshland while the traffic-less A228 continues at right towards the complex. The train will now reverse and take the left-hand route north across Stoke Marshes to Allhallows.
