Peter Kerslake says "A tight turn here for the first of the two low loaders as 4073 "Caerphilly Castle" heads from the Park Royal depot to its new home at the London Science Museum on the early morning of Sunday the 4th. June , 1961 a move clearly scheduled for a Sunday in order to keep trafffic disruption to a minimum.
4073 had been formally presented to the Director of the museum at a handing over ceremony held at Paddington the previous Friday and was destined to spend the next forty years at Kensington before moving to York."
