Castle Class 4-6-0 No 5051 Earl Bathurst crosses the River Ely at Llandough, Cardiff with an Up express having undertaken the common Sunday diversion via Barry and The Vale of Glamorgan line as a result of engineering work on the main line proper, on May 4, 1958.
