7013 1958-10-04 Oxford

GWR Castle 4-6-0 No 7013 Bristol Castle in Oxford station on 4 October 1958.

Peter Kerslake says "This was, of course, the original 4082 "Windsor Castle", the two locomotives permanently exchanging identities when the late King died and 4082 was not in service to haul the funeral train but 7013 was, just having been through Works.
Now overhauled and with a double chimney and improved draughting 7013's appearance somewhat spoiled by that Davies and Metcalfe mechanical Lubricator on its smokebox side , part of its new refinements to extend its working life. "
