Stanier ‘8F’ No. 48558 still carries its 9D Buxton shedplate although it was reallocated to Warrington Dallam early in May 1964. It is on the Down Fast with its train of Catfish ballast wagons and in the background can be seen the Thames Board Mills Ltd works which backed onto Arpley Yards.
