BR Riddles 'Standard 4' class 4-6-0 No. 75077. Built at Swindon in December 1955 and withdrawn in July 1967. I think this is a particularly pleasing portrait of a BR 'Standard 4' receiving a goodly dose of TLC at Nine Elms in April 1959. Our subject is looking very smart indeed. A really 'balanced' design from Mr. Riddles - if I may offer an opinion?
