32444 1950s Selsdon

A Class C2X 0-6-0 No 32444 of Norwood Jct (75C) at a Selsdon. The train is heading towards Elmers end in the 1950s. The engine is fitted with one of the curious double domed boilers (10 were constructed by L B Billinton to house his patent top feed system -later abandoned) which found their way around this class of engines at the time.
Built (as Class C2) 1893; w/d March 1960.
