This was the celebrated Brighton Works Centenary Special organised by the RCTS on 5th October 1952. It ran from London Victoria to Brighton and back with eight Pullman vehicles, hauled by Class H2 Brighton Atlantic No 32424 ‘Beachy Head’. A speed of 80mph was recorded on the return leg to London. The train is preparing to leave Brighton.
