35030 1959 Vauxhall

A heavy express gets underway from Waterlooo, passing Vauxhall in 1959. The head code indicates a West of England train, rather than a boat train. The train reporting number in the low 400s suggests a breakfast time departure from Waterloo.
In charge, MN Class No 35030 ‘Elder Dempster Lines’.
Robert Waterman adds " Unfortunately I do not have a list of train reporting numbers for what is here almost certainly a summer Saturday working (although they did change a little from year to year) but the Nine Elms loco diagram number '6' displayed on the lower headcode disc, on Mon - Fri included the down 11.00am Atlantic Coast Express, so it may be this working. Note that in 1964 the summer Saturday (only) down 11.00am ACE seems to have been 70A diagram 16 - not sure if this was the case on summer Saturdays in previous years".
