“The Hampshireman” (Hants and West Sussex Tour) RCTS special which ran on a chilly 6th February 1955. It started at Waterloo with No 32421 in charge to Guildford. Then E4Xs Nos 32570/6 took the train to Petersfield via Horsham. At Petersfied the two T9s (30301/30732) took over and brought the train back to Waterloo via West Meon and Farnborough. This was the last passenger train over the whole of the Meon Valley line which closed to passengers the following day.
