30045 1959-08-08 Seaton Junction
A lovely view of the Seaton Branch train at Seaton Junction on the ex-LSWR main line waiting to leave for the Seaton terminus 4.25 miles away on the south Devon coast. M7 0-4-4T No 30045 was the regular motive power for this branch (closed 7th March 1966) during the late 1950s/early 1960s, having its own one road shed at Seaton. Built in 1905, this locomotive was withdrawn in December 1962. A DMU then worked the branch from November 1963 to closure.
