Coronation Pacfic No 46223 Princess Alice with the up 'Caledonian' about three miles north of Shap summit at Little Strickland, just north of Thrimby Grange. This would have been taken in the summer of 1958, after the speed indicator had been fitted and before the tender had the new crests applied .
