BR Clan Pacific No 72006 Clan MacKenzie hurries down the bank from Auchterader to Forteviot with the 10.10am Euston to Perth express on a July evening in 1957. On the hill in the background, 'Craig Rossie', the Romans had an important outpost looking out over Strathearn.

Peter Kerslake adds "Many considered the Clans more attractive in appearance than the larger Britannias. 72006 was the last to survive, being condemned in May 1966; none made it into preservation."
