72006 1960c Beattock bank

BR 6MT 4-6-2 No 72006 Clan MacKenziewith on an express on Beattock bank in 1960c. 72006 is on Beattock bank heading north near Harthope box. If you look closely to the left of the loco one can see the old A74 road between Carlisle and Glasgow with a vehicle heading north. On the southern part of the bank the A74 ran east of the line before swinging under Harthope viaduct to the west side. This viaduct formed the boundary with Dumfries-shire and Lanarkshire.
