Midland Railway 3F tank No.47203 at Leicester on 15th March 1959. It had been transferred from Kentish Town to the Great Central shed in April 1958 but returned south in October 1959 again to Kentish Town for its final year before withdrawal. Perhaps its ability to act as a condensing tank was needed again in the capital. Upon aquisition of the former Great Central in 1958 the LMR were very hasty in replacing LNER designed locos with their own. Only B1's seeming to survive in any numbers.
