The Counties seemed like a cross between the Stanier LMS outline and their GWR lineage

Late in its working life 1013 "County of Dorset " now finds itself allocated to Swindon , far from its earlier home at Shrewsbury some ten years earlier.
The generally run down state of everything is all to apparent in this view and Swindon's shed roof has certainly seen better days , although " County of Dorset " still has her name and numberplates intact which was the exception at this late date
