Ex-LNER Gresley 'A4' class 4-6-2 No. 60008 'Dwight D. Eisenhower'. Built at Doncaster in September 1937 as LNER No. 4496 'Golden Shuttle', re-named in July 1945, withdrawn in July 1963 and preserved.

A very typical and everyday early 1960s scene with 60008 bringing in a down express under York's graceful curving roof. The poster on the right is advertising Kodak colour film - beyond my pocket I fear!
