In addition to the ex-LNER 'A4s', BR Peppercorn 'A2' 60532 'Blue Peter' could be seen at the helm of Aberdeen to Glasgow Buchanan Street expresses. Here it is near Gleneagles in July 1966 with that working. Although it was preserved after withdrawal in December 1966 as I write this in 2023 60532 has not now been in steam for some years, though work is underway to rectify that!
