St.Rollox-built ex-LMS Fowler '4F' 44202 has just emerged from the western portal of Kirkby Tunnel with a Nottingham to Worksop 'local'. This ex-MR route closed in 1964 but re-opened after local petitioning in 1995. This photo was taken on Saturday 5th September 1959.
