Two railwaymen strike a slightly uneasy pose at Edinburgh's Waverley Station with King's Cross allocated, class prototype ex-LNER Gresley 'A4' 60014 'Silver Link'. The locomotive has been rostered on Sunday 26th May 1956 to haul the 'Northern Rubber Special' for employees of the Retford-based company of which Alan Pegler was Managing Director. Searching for any further details of this working seems to have evaded even the internet'!!!
