60515 'Sun Stream' was one of Edward Thompson's 'A2/3' class 4-6-2s and had been allocated to York MPD since 1952. In spite of some design flaws the 'A2/3s' were generally excellent locomotives and (in my view) bore some of the most lovely and memorable names in railway history. Photo taken at York MPD and dated April 1956.
