At Holgate, York, on Saturday 17th June 1961, ex-LNER Gresley 'A3' class 4-6-2 No. 60066 'Merry Hampton', built by NBL of Glasgow in July 1924 as LNER No. 2565, rebuilt from class 'A1' to class 'A3' in December 1945, with the 'Scarborough Flyer' returning to Leeds. It was withdrawn in September 1963.
