The Class 'K' stopping freight or pick up goods, was a dying breed by 1967 when BR Standard 4MT No.75021 was pictured working north through Hest Bank on 12th May. A small sign hanging from the front middle lamp bracket indicates it was working Trip 49 from Carnforth. No. 75021 had been transferred to Carnforth from Croes Newydd at the end of the previous month.
