Ex-London, Brighton & South Coat Railway R.J. Billinton 'E4' class 0-6-2 Tank No. 32469. Built at Brighton in June 1898 as LB&SCR No. 469 'Beachy Head' and withdrawn in October 1961.

As with most LB&SCR Victorian era locomotives, the 75 'B4s' once carried names, 'Beachy Head' in the case of 32469. This delightfully sylvan scene in 1960 has her passing through Fittleworth Station in West Sussex with a short freight. Fittleworth had already closed to passengers in 1955 but freight lingered on until closure in 1963, the line itself three years later.
