Ex-Southern Railway Bulleid 'West Country' class 4-6-2 No, 34017 'Ilfracombe'. Built at Brighton in Dec. 1945 as SR No. 21C117, modified and rebuilt in Nov. 1957 with conventional valve gear and outline. It was withdrawn in Oct. 1966. Seen here getting under way at Sittingbourne, Kent in March 1957.
