Ex-Southern Railway Bulleid 'West Country' class 4-6-2 No. 34017 'Ilfracombe' Built At Brighton in Dec. 1945 as SR No. 21C117, rebuilt in Nov. 1957 with conventional valve gear and modified outline. Withdrawn in Oct. 1966. This 'up close and personal' shot makes this a great dramatic scene near Herne Bay in Kent in March 1957.
