Ex-London & South Western Railway Adams 'Radial Tank' class 4-4-2 Tank No. 30584. Built by Dubs & Co. in December 1885 as LSWR No. 520 and withdrawn in January 1961. Would that scenes like this could have lasted forever! It's July 1956 and 30584, now in its seventh decade, has just arrived at Lyme Regis from Axminster. The whole scene is a modellers delight, but was to close forever in November 1965.
