Ex-Southern Railway Bulleid ‘Battle of Britain’ class 4-6-2 No. 34050 ‘Royal Observer Corps’ at Salisbury Station, Wiltshire on Sunday 2 July 1961.Built at Brighton in December 1946 as SR No. 21C150 and withdrawn in August 1965. The special was part of a ceremony to honour the Royal Observer Corps and to present the locomotive with a plaque in ROC colours.
