Originally a South Eastern Railway (later South Eastern & Chatham) MPD, Bricklayer's Arms had opened in 1847, closing in June 1962. An ex-Southern Railway Maunsell 'U' 31635 is seen resting in the sun. The noticeably angular Belpaire firebox is evident. Ex-LB&SCR Robert Billinton 'C2X' 32524 is also in view - well some of it! June 1957.
