Although it's a rather murky day in 1959, ex-LNER Gresley V2 No. 60870 still makes a stirring sight with an up express. It is passing Doncaster North box, that still has a classic GNR gas lamp (inexplicably) for exterior lighting! 60870 was built at Darlington in Aug. 1939 as LNER No. 4841 and was withdrawn in July 1963.
