On a rather rainy and murky August day in 1957, York MPD yard is full of a typical selection of classes. Those unidentified include an 'A1', a 'WD', and a 'J27'. A Jubilee No. 45724 'Warspite' is a visitor whilst centre stage is ex-LNER Gresley 'V2' No. 60854 that has been stopped for a cylinder repair.
