In green with a post-1956 logo on The Royal Scot. The location may be near to Stafford. It arrived on the LMR from the Southern in August 1955 and was withdrawn in December 1963. The three former Southern Region diesels were rostered to many of the principal express passenger workings on the West Coast main line.
